Course contents
The course aims to provide a grounding in audiovisual language and communication techniques, together with technical and practical knowledge of video tools and the relative communication and transmission methods, through an analysis of the specific platforms. The various phases of video production communication will be subdivided, conceptually and chronologically, into promotion, communication, audience education and live streaming.

The course will be completed by seminars and workshops in association with SKY Classica TV channel staff, Teatro Comunale di Ferrara and the City of Modena Multimedia Communication/Productions Department, with regard to video production applied to Dance, Live Music and the Local Cultural Heritage. To conclude, participants will gain “hands on” experience through the live streaming of a production at Teatro Comunale in Modena.

Course acceptance criteria
The course is open to people formally resident or domiciled in Emilia-Romagna who have completed their compulsory schooling. Applicants must be over 18 years of age at the time of application and must prove that they have acquired, through a formal or information learning process, an appropriate level of skill in communications in the live performance sector or specific knowledge of audiovisuals. It must be borne in mind that the course is intended to provide a high level of specialist knowledge of audiovisual communications tailored to the needs of institutions which oversee the production of live performances and the training of performing arts students.

Selection criteria
Assessment of CVs will be followed by individual interviews to evaluate candidates’ knowledge and abilities and to provide information about the course’s form and scheduling and career prospects.
