Period music concerts

“Modena Città del Belcanto” contributed to the “Notte Bianca” all-night celebrations on 20 May with a period music concert starring the students of the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “O. Vecchi – A. Tonelli” in association with the “Italico Splendore” Ensemble.

As part of the “Notte bianca” programme

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left” color=”#000000″][vc_column_text] “Modena Città del Belcanto” contributed to the “Notte Bianca” all-night celebrations on 20 May with a period music concert starring the students of the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “O. Vecchi – A. Tonelli” in association with the “Italico Splendore” Ensemble. In the lovely setting of the Sala del Fuoco in the Palazzo Comunale building, from 7.30 to 10.30 pm students of the Masterclass in Vocal Technique and Operatic Interpretation and the Two Year Level II Course in Voice at the “Vecchi – Tonelli” (taught by Raina Kabaivanska) performed together with the students of the Istituto “Vecchi – Tonelli” Period Music Workshop in Modena and Carpi. They were also accompanied by “Italico Splendore” Ensemble, a group specialising in the baroque, classical and pre-romantic repertoire.
